In 2008 the RV Mustangs and their group of "bricklayers" re-established our schools reputation for tough, hard-nosed football. In 2009 our "framers" gave shape to how RV teams will look...a Double Wing offense that is like a road-grading machine, and a defense that will knock your block off.

 

One website that reflects our style of play is from Coach Hugh Wyatt, the inventor of the "Wildcat" offense. Coach Wyatt developed this offense at La Center High School (The Wildcats) in Washington state in 1997...that's 7 years before the "new" offense was played famously by the Arkansas Razorbacks, with Darren McFadden and Felix Jones! Our Double Wing offense is modeled directly on Coach Wyatt's principles.
