Requirements:
- There will be one test and two quizzes per topic area above, 2 review sheets will be given before each test and you may make 1 3”x5” note card of information to be used on the test.
- Written application assignments and other assignments to understand the concepts better
- Summaries of articles, movies, tapes, etc

8th Grade History
There will be work following every section. There will be a test at the end of every chapter.
- Tests are worth a max of 100 pts.
- Quizzes will be worth a max of 50 pts..
- There will be a research project worth a total of 400 pts.
- Daily work and homework will count as 10 points each.
There will be a participation grade added as well. In order to receive 100% of the participation points you must contribute to class on a regular basis and turn in 100% of your work. For each assignment that you are missing I will take 20 pts away from your participation points. In simplest terms… do all of your work and turn it in. Late work is unprofessional, unacceptable, and should not be expected to be taken with credit.
