Math
Goals:
- Improve math calculation and applied math skills
- Special attention will be given to individual IEP goals related to study skills and organization.
Grading Procedure and Policy:
Your grade is based on assignments given in class and completion of required online assignments. Class assignments will vary between group assignments and individualized assignments utilizing the Accelerated Math program.
Classroom Rules & Responsibilities:
- Be on time and be prepared. I follow the school handbook policy on Tardies. TURN OFF cell phones.
- No excessive talking in class. Detentions will be assigned for disrupting class.
- Students needing a hall pass must have THEIR OWN planner. Passes will not be written in a planner other than your own. Passes will not be given the first 15 minutes of class. I do not give passes to the drinking fountain. Students must have an academic purpose to request a pass to the library.
- The teacher’s desk is off limits to any student.
- Food and drinks will not be permitted in the classroom.
- Classroom computers are for the purpose of completing core area assignments, practicing skills, and academic research. Students will be permitted to use the computers at the teacher’s. Students must follow River Valley technology guidelines.
