Please read and share the attached information on the millage proposal, which can also be found on our webpage at: May 5th, 2026 Operating Millage Election Information I'd also as that you please help spread the word to our voters about these upcoming presentations/gatherings on the Millage Renewals and other River Valley School related topics: Village Council Meeting for Three Oaks: Wednesday, April 8 at 7:00 New Troy Community Center: Thursday, April 9th at 5:00 River Valley Senior Center: Tuesday, April 14th at 1:00 Harbor Country Rotary Club: Wednesday, April 15th at 5:30 During these presentations, I will focus on the Non-Homestead Operating Millage Proposal but am also happy to answer questions about the progress we are making as a school district. CAREER FAIR We hosted a wonderful Career Fair for many of our MHS students last week. These types of events are great ways to give kids hope as we had many employers, educational institutions, military recruiters and others here to engage with them. Often, in this virtual world, kids have a hard time seeing where they really fit in real life where there are real responsibilities and opportunities to fulfill... IF YOU CANNOT SEE IT, YOU CANNOT BE IT, is a wonderful phrase that summarizes why Career Fairs like we had are so important for so many kids. Our Preschool and Kindergarten Round Up is almost here, and we cannot wait to welcome our newest Mustangs for Fall 2026. Join us on Wednesday April 22, 2026, from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm at River Valley Elementary for an exciting evening designed especially for incoming families. This is a wonderful opportunity to tour the building, meet our teachers, and turn in your enrollment packet. Preschool is open to children who are 4 years old by September 1, 2026, and our Preschool Program is full day. Kindergarten is open to children who are 5 years old by September 1, 2026. Enrollment packets will be ready for pick up beginning April 6, 2026, at the school office. We look forward to meeting the next generation of learners and showing you all the great things happening at River Valley Elementary. Spread the word and help us welcome the Class of 2039.
